This paper is a brief analysis of the trading combination, sovereign CDS and government bond of the same country. The idea behind is basically the same as the basis trading, created by Morgan Stanley in the early 21st.Having analyzed the pairs of the main European countries, we have found that there lies a solid comovements between the Sovereign CDS spread and the yield of government bond.
