CCNP新考试大纲的概要

对于组建可扩展的思科网络(BSCI,路由)考试,
新考试(642-901)的内容包括:
实现增强内部网关路由协议(EIGRP)操作;
实现多区域开放最短路径优先(OSPF)操作;
描述中间系统-中间系统(IS-IS);
实现思科因特网络操作系统(IOS)的路由功能;
实现边界网关路由协议(BGP)对因特网服务提供商(ISP)的连接;
实现组播转发;
实现因特网协议第六版(IPv6).
而原先考试(642-801)的内容包括:
实现增强内部网关路由协议(EIGRP)操作;
实现多区域开放最短路径优先(OSPF)操作;
描述和实现中间系统-中间系统(IS-IS);
实现思科因特网络操作系统(IOS)的高级路由功能;
实现边界网关路由协议(BGP)对因特网服务提供商(ISP)的连接;
描述和实现高级 IP编址技术;
描述和实现 IP路由原理.

描述和配置交换网络的安全性能;
配置语音支持.
而原先考试(642-811)的内容包括:
描述和实现于分层的网络中的生成树协议(STP);
描述和实现虚拟局域网(VLAN);
描述和实现虚拟局域网(VLAN)间的路由;
描述和实现壹些实用性高的技术;
描述和实现组播转发;
描述和实现交换网络的安全性能;

On16August2006,theAcademyprogramannouncedthedevelopmentofanew
CCNPcurriculumthatwillalignwiththeupdatedCCNPcertificationannouncedon15
skillsnecessarytoimplementandsupportanend-to-endIPnetworkinfrastructurewith
integratedadvancedtechnologysolutionsincludingsecurity,wirelessLANs,qualityof
service(QoS),andVolP.
Thepurposeofthisupdateistoprovideasummaryofthechangesandinformation
regardingtheequipmentrequirementsforteachingthenewcourses,instructor
training,andcertification.
SummaryofChanges
CCNP 1 -Approximately25percentofthecontentwillchangesothecoursewillalign
withthenewBuildingScalableCiscolnternetworks(BSCI)
teachesadvancedskillsrequiredtoimplementandsupportenterprise-classIProuting
,andexpandedcoveragecf!PvE.!!zil!
alsoleveragethelatestIOSsoftware.
CCNP 2-ThiswillbecomeanentirelynewcoursealigningwiththeImplementing
SecureConvergedWANs(ISCW)
skillsrequiredtosecureandenhanceservicesinenterprisenetworksforteleworkers
.
CCNP 3-Approximately25percentofthecurrentcoursecontentwillchangesothe
coursewillalignwiththenewBuildingCiscoMultilayerSwitchedNetwork(BCMSN)
willaddwirelessLANs,basicQoStosupportvoice,high-availabilityfeatures,and
enhancedsecurityforswitches.
CCNP 4 -ThiswillbecomeanentirelynewcoursealigningwiththeOptimizing
ConvergedCiscoNetworks(ONT)
skillsrequiredtooptimizeQoSinconvergednetworkssupportingvoice,wireless,and
securityapplications.
TheupdatedCCNP 1 and 3 courses will be available in early January 2007 andthe
titleswillbechangingtoreflectthecontentupdatesandwillbeannouncedatalater
date.
InstructorshavetheflexibilitytoofferallfourofthenewCCNPcoursesinanyorder
buttherecommendedteachingstrategyisforstudentstocompleteCCNP3before
CCNP4.
Equipment Requirements
InordertoteachtheadvancedtechnologiesinthenewCCNPcourses,some
additionalequipmentandsoftwarewillberequiredforthewirelessandVolPcontent.
Thelatestequipmentlistisnowavailableanddefinestheequipmentandsoftwarethat
,pricesand
discountsvarybytheaterandregion,equipmentlistswillbeavailablefromyour
regionaltechnicalmanager.
ThenewwirelessequipmentrequirementsincludeCisco'slatestlightweightsolutions,
listshavebeenpreparedtodifferentiatebetweendesktopandlaptopclassroom
computers,andbetweenanintegratedsolutionusinga28xxwirelessISRLAN
controllermoduleorstandaloneWLANcontrollerequipment.
Adocumentdetailingwhatisrequiredtoupgradeequipmentfromthecurrentlistto
developedandtested.
lnstructor Training
materialsfortheupdatedCCNP1andCCNP3courseswillbecompletedinlate
Novemberandwillconsistofcontentandlabscoveringthenewcoursematerial.
Ciscowillsendanotherannouncementwhenthecourseupdatetrainingmaterialsare
abouttheseeventswillbecommunicatedbytheCiscoteamineachregion.
lnstructortrainingforthenewCCNP2andCCNP4courseswillbeavailableinApril
courseswillbecommunicatedinearly2007.
Certification
neworoldversionofBSClandBCMSN,whileanytwoofthefollowingexamswill
satisfytheotherhalfofthecertificationrequirement:BCRAN,CIT,ISCW,orONT.
Thelastdayforthepublictotaketheoldcertificationexamsis31December2006.
However,zero-discountvoucherswillbeavailabletoidentifyAcademyprogram
studentswhoaretakingtheretiredexamsbetween1January2007and31December
