1、目的 Purpose:
本规定主要是针对 NWInG(以下简称本公司)相关客户环境要求之产品
及材料等中所含的环境管理物质,明确禁止
使用物质,计划废除物质以及削减物质,期让公司内部及供应商人人皆
知,达到防止向客户产品混入环境有害物质,
提高本公司产品的环境质量及产品的竟争力及遵守法令,保护地球环
境以及减轻对生态系统影响的目的.

客户及本公司判断在产品,设备等所含有的物质中,有对地球环境
和人体存在显著影响的物质.

管理级别:ManagementStandards
按照以下 3种管理级别进行管理

级:对于该物质及其用途立即禁止使用.

级:对于该物质及其用途规定一定时期予以禁止.超过表
中规定的日期之后,不能在产品及材料中
使用,到达期限时指定为“1级”

含有系指无论是否有意,所有在产品的零件,设备或使用的材料中添
加,填充,混入或黏附的物质(包括在加工过
程中无意混入或黏附于产品中的物质)

杂质 Impurity
包含在天然材料中,作为工业材料使用,在精制过程中技术上不能完全去
除的物质(naturalimpurity),或者合成反应过程中产生,而在技术上不能
完全去除的物质.
Asubstancecontainedinanaturalmaterial,whichcannottechnical
lyberemovedinarefiningprocesstotally,orasubstancegenerated
inasynthesisprocess,thetotalremovalofwhichistechnicallyimp
ossible.
此外,为了与主原料加以区别,在为了改变材料的特性而使用称之为”
杂质”的物质时,也按”含有”处理.但是,在制造半导体产品等使用
的掺杂剂(DOPANT),虽然是有意添加的,但实质上在半导体产品中仅
有极微量残存,这种情况下不作为”含有”处理.

质作为杂质混入或者黏附时,其浓度不
应超过该允许浓度.

禁止供货时期 Thetimetobanonreceivingthepartsandmaterials.
产品和材料禁止向客户和 Foxconn 供货时期(即客户和 Foxconn
收货之日期).

允許濃度:
汞、鎘、六價鉻、鉛等重金屬的允許濃度,按包裝的各部件材料、墨水、涂料等,重金屬合計為100ppm以下,但是
塑料(包括橡膠)部位,鎘的允許濃度定為5ppm以 下.(主要塑料部位:把手、塑料袋、膠墊、繩索、箔以及托架、
導軌、膠帶、杠杆、膠卷盒等)
Allowable concentrations:
Less than 100 ppm is determined as an allowable total-concentration of four heavy metals(mercury, cadmium, lead,
hexavalent chromium). Less than 5ppm is determined as an allowable cadmium concentration in a plastic (including
rubber) part. ( Typical plastic parts; handles, cushions, wraps, reels, tapes, sticks, magazines, polyvinyl bags, and foil or
trays)
測定標準
(1)預處理
預處理方法,除汞以外,采用硫酸、硝酸以及過氧化氫存在下的濕式分解法(例如 BSEN1122"Plastics-
Determination of cadmium-Wet decomposition method"中記載的分解方法等)、硫酸存在下的灰化法、或者密閉容
器內的加壓酸分解法(微波分解法)等方法. 對於汞,
a. 上述微波分解法或者
b 采用回流冷卻器分解燒瓶,用硫酸、硝酸水分解使其成為溶液.
在產生沉淀物時采用某种方法進行溶解.
作為總鉻量進行分析,4种元素合計為100ppm以下.但是4种元素合計為100ppm以上時,將分析總鉻量中的六
價鉻,確認汞、鎘、六價鉻、鉛的合計是不為100ppm以下.
(2).測定裝置 Measurement method
對於鎘、總鉻、鉛、標準裝置采用感應等離子體發光分光分析裝置 (ICP-AES,ICP-OES),原子吸光裝置
(AAS)、感應等離子體質量分析裝置 ICP-MS).對於汞,標準裝置采用還原汽化AAS、還原汽化ICP-AES、ICP-
OES為其標準.
備注: 通過預定處理和測定裝置的組合,如果可以保證定量下限各自為汞5PPM以下,鎘5PPM以下,總鉻2PPM
以下,鉛30PPM以下,則作為正品.此外,鎘,鉛,總鉻使用AS以外的方法也可以同時進行分析

Standard for measurement:
(1) Pre-conditioning
For cadmium, lead, and hexavalent chromium, use any one of the following:
a). A wet decomposition method under the existence of sulfuric acid, nitric acid, and hydrogen peroxide (. the
decomposition method specified in BS EN1122: 2001, “Plastics-Determination of cadmium wet decomposition method);
b). An incineration method under the existence of sulfuric acid; and
c). A pressurized acid decomposition method done in a sealed container (a microwave decomposition method).
For mercury, use either one of the following:
a). A microwave decomposition method (same as above); and
b). A method in which a decomposition flask with a reflux condenser is used to decomposition mercury by sulfuric
acid or nitric acid and then to form a mercury solution.
If precipitates are produced, dissolve them with some first, analyze mercury, cadmium, lead, and total
chromium to check whether the total concentration of the four elements is less than 100 it is 100 ppm or more,
analyze the hexavalent chromium contained in the total chromium. Then, check whether the total concentration of mercury,
cadmium, lead, and hexavalent chromium is less than 100 ppm.
(2)Measurement method
Regarding cadmium, lead, and total chromium, use any one of ICP-AES(OES)(Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic
[Optical] Emission Spectroscopy) or AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy), or ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma
Mass Spectroscopy). These are standard measurement methods. Regarding mercury, a standard measurement method
is a Vapor Hydride Generation System AAS or a Vapor Hydride Generation System ICP-AES(OES).
If a combination of pre-conditioning and a measurement method can guarantee the following lower determination
limits it is also available;
1) Less than 5 ppm for mercury;
2) Less than 5 ppm for cadmium;
3) Less than 2 ppm for the total chromium;
4) Lees than 30 ppm for lead.
Note: With the above-mentioned pre-conditioning and measurement method (expect
AAS), it is possible to analyze cadmium, lead, and the total chromium simultaneously.
供應商與本公司之間的規格交換Specification exchange with business partners
在本公司借給供應商的產品,材料等規格書或者圖紙中,必須明確記載"此產品中不能使用含有本規定
指定物質的材料".
Either the sentence“This part should not contain any substance which are specified in this standard’, or
one that conveys the same meaning must clearly be written on the drawings or specification for parts and
materials that are lent out to suppliers by Foxconn.
關於本文件中規定的允許含量, 供應商必須采取適當的方法掌握含量, 進行管理. 對於為遵守法規等而被
定為嚴格管理的對象, 必須根據本公司及客戶所要求的方法,提出已經符合允許含量的證明.供應商還必
須提出証據表明符合 "Foxconn供應商環境品質保証指南"和本公司採購單位及客戶另行制定的具體規定.
Regarding the allowable concentration regulated in this document, suppliers must comprehend
and control them with adequate methods. For the targets for which strict controls are needed to follow relevant
laws and regulations, suppliers must prove that allowable concentration of the substance/purpose specified
in this regulation are kept, by applying the methods required by Foxconn and its customers. Suppliers must
have control over concrete methods for the proof by following ‘Foxconn Guidance for Environment-Related
Quality Assurance’ and the detailed regulation for operation that are separately regulated by the
procurement divisions of Foxconn and its customers.
7.文件变更时机及权限

文件随之更新，且必须经过具原核准权
限之主管核准，方可实施。
