摘要:智能同步光网络(ASON)与多业务传送
平台 (MSTP)固其先进的智能性、可靠性、灵
活性而得以发展和运用。本文根据智能光网络
与多业务传送平台枝术的发展一情况,结合北京
通信传送网络的实际情况,探讨北京通信传送
网的建设思路

1 北京市通信公司传输网建设需求分析
北京通信传输网有朗讯 1、朗讯2、马可
尼、华为SDH传输网 (市区与郊区各设置一
个网络级网管)和PDH传输网。根据网络容
量 (包括今年要扩容后的朗讯2网,扩容后
的朗讯 2网已达到了骨干、汇聚、接八三层
平衡)和业务于干放数据统计、分析,不考虑
年增长率,可以满足2004年4月前业务发展
的需求。
北京通信现使用的三个厂商的sDH传
输网络,因都是过去几年中逐渐扩容形成
的,采用了各厂商不同时期的传输设备,在
设备八网封,大郡必须 网络进行升级,
每次升级时司约为3周左右,在升级过程中
都或多或少地影响了业务的开通工作,给市

另外,PDH传输网因使用对司较长,且
不具备链路保护功能,其所承载的业务 (主
要是北京通信自用)在今后几年需逐步害 接
到SDH传输觋中。现在只是考虑现驾 SDH
网容量不足,不能彻底将 。::} 设备返网。
基于上述原因,北京通信建立新传输网
约工作已迫在眉睫。只有现在开始进行建网
前期工作,在2004年初建成新的传输网,才
能满足2004年以后的传输业务需求。
2 传输设备的技术发展方向
传输设备日譬技术发展日新月异,近几年
最引人注目的是智能光网络与多业务传送平
台技术
2.1 智能光网络技术
通信业务发展十分迅速.传送带宽需求
也日益增长。为适应传送业务的发展.很多
设备制造商开发生产大交叉能力的多光口传
送设备,而且得以迅速商用 朗讯公司匏带
宽管理设备 (BwM)就是这类产品。阿尔卡
特、西门子等公司都有类似产品 这类产品
采用的是传统的 sDH设备整制技术与集群
交叉机结构,设备钵职庞大 功耗高、保护
机制不灵活、维护成本高,便其逐渐失去市

场。朗讯公司已停止了BWM的生产,而转八
新一代集成的、采用智能技术的ASON设备
的生产。其他传输设备制造商也将开发重点
放在了智能光网络方面。
智能光网络继承了多光口设备的大容量交
叉能力和多种端口的优点,芦引八了路由控制
技术,使之成为真正的智能传送设备 智能光
网络节点设备鱼机交叉连接容量一般在640
Gbit/s左右 (有的厂家为320 Gbit/s,有的厂
家为960 Gbit/s)。通过扩展可达几个太比特
的交叉连接能力
智能光网络采用了光信令路由协议。光
信令路由协议为分布式协议,内置于网络设
备控制模块中,是快速网格恢复技术的关
键 光信令路由协议分成路由协议、信令协
议两个主要部分,用于联网的智能光网络节
点设备之 司共享网络拓扑、自动寻找路由、
配置号路。路由协议的主要功能为网络相邻
节点的发现,网络拓扑信息分发,路由信息
分发,路径选择优化的计算,使每 个网元
都知道整个网络的网络拓扑和链路状态。信
令协议的主要功能是寻找路由,建立、拆除
和恢复连接。
智能光网络继承了 sD 网的网络保护
机制,还具备了网状恢复和混合型网络保护
功能 SDH网的网络保护机制包括复用段保
护 (MSP)、子网联接保护 (SNCP),复用
段共享环保护 (MS—SPqing)。通过网状恢
复功能,网络故障aⅡ可在几百毫秒内通过自
动重新建立路由,恢复业务,还可以指定业
务的优先级来区分网络故障情况下的业务恢
复优先级和恢复时间。混合型网络保护.是
在标准的sDH保护业务中增加快速网状恢
复功能,进一步提供被保护电路的安全性、
可靠性。
2.2 多业务传送平台技术
多业务传送平台技术是顺应传送业务综
合化需求而产生和发展的。传统的数据和传
输专业划分,主要体现在开放系统互连

MSTP is born and developed as the result ofdemand oftransmit-

用了OSI的1层协议。而数据专业包含了0SI
的所有层面 如DDN应用的是1层协议,FR
网应用了2层协议,ATM网应用了2 5层协
议,路由器则应用了3层协议⋯一当然,有
些数据网是构建在传输网上的,如DDN、FR
网就是掏建在传输网上的。
以前各运营商均是独立发展传输网络与
数据网络的,这主要有两个原因,一是专业
划分的原因;另外,设备制造商也是按这个
划分方法来生产传输和数据没备的。这样
的专业划分方法,造成通信运营商在扩展
“传送类”业务时,为满足 “传送类”业务
的多样性需求,不得不将语音和数据的“传
送类”业务 (E1、LAN、DDN、FR、ATM
等)的传送节点设备分别引八到用户端。这
种将各种业务节点设备均安装在用户侧的
组网方法,加大了设备的投资。某些情况,
考虑节约设备投资,采用光纤 “直驱”,将
LAN或ATM业务引到用户端,采用实线
Modem开通 DDN、FR业务 ,采用 sDH
设备提供 E1(主要是语音中继和 El专线)
传输业务。
面对 “传送类”业务综合化需求,无论
数据设备制造商还是传输设备制造商,都向
设备综合化方向发展。传统的传输设备制造
商将 OSI的2层 (甚至3层I)协议引八设备
制造中;而数据设备制造商也步八到传输设
备制造业中 他们郡选择了多业务传送平台
(MSTP)技术。
MSTP技术的发展,有四代技术。下面
详细介绍一下MSTD各代技术的主要特点。
2,2.1 第一代:接入阶段 (A-ADM)
接八阶段的MSTP设备初步提供了一
个多业务接八平台,在原有SDH基础上增加
宽带接口,实现了数据业务的透明传输,例
如提供以太网接口将以太数据帧映射:~IJSDH
虚容器,在对端解映射实现点对点透传;为
数据通信设备提供级联接口接八 A T M 和

接八阶段的MsTP技术具备良好的传
统传输网络兼容性,在网络保护、网络管理
等方面继承了传统SDH 5团络的优点,由于采
用TDM的独立 隙通道,能够保证接八数据
业务有严格的质量保证和彻底的安全性。但
是接八阶段的 Ms TP 技术只是简单地在
SDH设备上增添了宽带接口,所以对数据业
务的处理能力较弱,必然导致网络带宽利用
率低,容量扩展能力较差

2 2 4 第四代:智能阶段 (I—ADM)
为增强网络设备对业务韵感知能力,在
业务指配、网络互操作能力方面进一步增
强 MSTP技术将发展到智能阶段。传统的
静态网络也将向智能网络演逝.可实现网络
扑自动发现、带宽动态申谓和释放、Mesh
网灵活高效的t呆护等。
MSTP技术保持前向兼容,管理控制层
面 (软件)的升级使网络具备智能特性.静
态网络向智能网络的演进将经历静态到半静
态、半智能到智能的过程
目前大多数设备制造商的MSTP设备
处在第二代,一部分设备制造商的MSTP设
备处在第三代 (有商用实例)
采用 MSTP设备的主要优点是降低了
传送类没备的总投资,提高了传送网的安全
r-主(接八层实现了双路由保护),增加了传送
网的整体综合利用率 但买用MSTP设备也
给运营商的维护体制造成了 中击 。因为
MSTP设备糨传统的传输韧数据技术融合在
一 起,且统一到~个网管中.这势必带来传
输和数据专业维护工作的部分融合 这对运
营商的维护体制是 个不小的变革
3 ASON与MSTP的商用情况
正是因为ASON与MSTP的优势.使其
得迅速发展。美国AT&T公司采用CIENA公
司的ASON设备作为传送平台的骨干、汇聚
节点,采用Cisco公司的MSTD设备作为传
送平台的业务接八节点,而且刀尔实验室开发
了综合网管作为整个传送网的控制层面,成功
地买现了整个传送网的统 管理。该网从2001
年底建设,2002年初开始商用,发展到现在已

建立了1∞多个ASON骨干、汇聚节点,数百
个MSTP接八节点。这是将ASON与MSTP
成功应用的一个范例 其成功之处在于在骨
干、汇聚点弓用ASON芨术,提高了网络质
量,降低了投资和维护成本;而接八点采用
MSTP技术,降低了设备投资,增加了网络灵
活度,提供多业务,且其传统的 SDH保护功
能通过控制层面完成全网协同工作,方便地实
现业务开放与业务保护。
上面介绍的是通过引八控制层面来完成一
个厂家的ASON设备与另一个厂家的MSTP
设备成功组网约例子 事实上,正是因为
CIENA与Cisco两个公司设备控制机理的相
似性才得以实现全网的统一管理和控制。如昊
二个公司设备盹控制机理不相似,引八控制层
来管理全网几乎是不可能实现的。实际上,其
它设备制造商在自己的系列产品中,同样采用
引八控制层面来完成其ASON设备与 MSTP
设备的网络管理工作,如呵尔卡特等公司,只
不过他们融合管理的ASON设备与MSTP设
备来源于 个公司的不同子公司而已。
在构筑智能城域传送网时,需要的是
ASON加MSTP设备,因此设备制造商也郡
努力提供全系列产品,CIENA公司收购一家
制造MSTP设备的公司,通过开发控制层面,
完成了ASON与MSTP设备混合组网时全网
统 管理控制的融合 西、_子公司也收购了
生产ASON设备的SYCAMORE公司,并正
在进行控制层面的开发工作。开发工作已哥
续一年日 司,也可实现AS'ON与MSTP网络
管理的 合 而更多的公司如阿尔卡特、朗
讯、北电等都是自己开发 ASON产品,并且
实现其与传统 MSTP设备统一组网,通过控
制层面实现全网管控制的融合。
目前,CIENA、阿尔卡特、朗讯、北电、
西~-子等公司的 MsTP设备都有很多商用
的t列子 且他们的ASON设备都有不同的商
用案例,只不过商用数量和商用时间差别很
大,各公司的ASON设备商用情况可参见厂

4 关于 As0N与 MSTP产品成熟·I生的
分 析
众所周知,ASON MS—FP技术都处在
发展之中,主要表现在标准没有完全定下
来,其主要原因是各个厂商都想推出自己的
标准,得以抢占先机。事实上,每个厂商采
用自己的标准独立组网,不存在与其它厂商
统一标准的问题。
传统的SDH标准虽然己统 、完备,但
其标准的深八程度远不能实 任意两个厂商
设备管理与控制的统~ 如目前北京t吏用的
朗讯、马可尼和华为3公司的SDbt传输设备,
虽然这些设备都是在~个 SDH标准下开发、
制造的,但还是无法实现网络管理与控制的
统一 原因是标准无法规定所有细节。不同
厂商设备只是实现了业务的互通,无法实现
保护倒换控制 网络管理的统 实际上,北
京三个厂商的sD__传辖设备是独立组网管
理的,只是个别地方存在业务转接。
与传统的SDH设备标准一样,国际各个
标准化组织也无法实现ASCN控制等协议的
统一 事实上,几个标准组织部是分别采用
了一些厂商推出的协议标准 只是各个厂商
占的比例不同,且在一些方面因为争论不休
出现了分支,出现了标准的不统一现象,如
路由信令部分标准就出现了丽个分支。
事实上,跨两个厂商的ASON设备,只能
通过E—NN J(外辩网络节点互连)协议来实现
两个网络的业务与管理互通, 际标准组织就
是这}芏定的。而这一协议目前还没有正式颁
布,也是因为各方各持己见,难以达成一致。这
也正是ASON“不理想”的地方。但对一个运
营商采讲,在一个区域内,如一个城市或一个
省内的一个传送网络中采用两种以上的ASQN
设备,需要统一的E NNI协议。采用一个厂商
的ASON设备,就不会因为没有E-NNI标准
而担忧。当然如果选用了 稗 s,SON设备组网
后,再用另一种ASON设备建一个新网时,将

无法与原来的 络统一,只能像北京通信现在
一 佯,建设若干个传输网。
对于MSTP设备同咩也是如此,很少有通
信运营商在 个区域 (一个网络中)采用两种
以上的MSTP设备 如果说一个城域网中使用
了两个厂商的传输设备,那/厶大多数运营商都
是建立了两个以上的传送网绍,而在一个网络
中采用的都是一个厂商的设备,很少有像
AT&T公司将 CIENA公司的 ASON设备与
Cisco公司的MSTP设备建立在一个网络中
(据我了解这是目前唯一成功的范例)。
另外需要说明的司题是,现在北京通信
是采用 ASO 产品还是采用传统的多端口
10 Gbh/s设备组建传送网的骨干、汇聚层,
我个人认为应该采用ASQN设备 这是因为
多光口设备在传输技术发展的历史进程中属
于 “昙花一现” 如朗讯公司已放弃了BWM
这一多光口1 0 Gbit/s设备的生产,而转为
生产 Lambda-UNITE (ASON)设备;西
门子公司也收购了SYCAMORE公司,转产
ASON设备;北电公司也生产HDX产品。
因此,北京通信在建网中,应该选择ASON
产品,而不应再j丘用技术过时 多端口设备 另
外,ASON与IVSTP并不矛盾,实际上,ASOIX:
点设备中同咩能采用多业务端口。
从上面 沦可以看到,北京通信采用
ASON十MSTP组建 个新的综合传输网是
最优的方案 只要我们从技术与经济上并重考
虑,选择一个可靠的设备制造商,就能建成一
个高品质、方便维护、安全可靠、统 灵活、多
蝉的综合传送 务网络,并且它将对北京通信
业务的开拓与发展起到重要作用。互
