一些物质的危害
这些废弃的产品内，不同程度地含有各种有毒持久性化学物质
和重金属，给人类健康和环境带来了严重影响。 例如:
Lead:铅---CRT(显示器)中通常含有4～8磅铅。焊接也大部分是用
铅，铅有可能从设备中渗透入土壤后，造成土壤污染。
铅对肾脏、神经与生殖系统有毒害，会抑制儿童与胎儿
的智力发展。
Mercury:汞---纯平显示器中的光球、开关与印刷无线电路板中
都含有汞。量比较大的汞污染会导致大脑与肾脏
损坏，还会通过母乳影响胎儿发育。
c. Plastics:塑料---平均每台电脑有磅塑料（含PVC，聚氯乙
烯）。当PVC被燃烧至一定温度范围内，它会产
生二恶英，二恶英是严重的致癌物。
